Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released many studio records. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. However, they also have influences from hip hop, jazz, and punk. Ani Difranco is considered to be a feminist legend and Grammy award-winning. Being one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother is from Montreal. Ani diFranco was the composer and singer of the song 32 Flavors.
