Haylie Duff's sister Susan Duff is the second child of her. Hilary was inspired by her sister to travel with the Cecchetti Ballet as a young girl. Although the actress enjoyed dancing but she soon realized her true passion was behind cameras and began an acting career. Her first performance was in the 1998 Casper Meets Wendy movie when the young actress was just 11 years old her starring role as Wendy was the beginning of her many roles. Her real big break-through role, one was loved by all of us in our younger years was in the Lizzie McGuire series and movie Duff's role as the lead character Lizzie McGuire would result in her fame gaining momentum quickly.
