Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1959) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American writer and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor in New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She's been a legal analyst for National Public Radio's program and the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning show and is the host of her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl completed her studies at West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She worked as a NPR legal reporter. She worked as the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as a Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
