Sharp studied clarinet, keyboard, and cello in the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's love for theater during her high school years brought her to Boston Conservatory where she was given a scholarship. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey to the stage. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the interactive comedy Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. She continues to sing, and is currently working on a full-length album that is in development. When she's not working front of cameras, or working in a studio to record songs, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always the gym and studies Krav Maga.. She also enjoys playing piano along with hiking, and taking long journeys. Sharp resides with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
