Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American singer and songwriter who rose to fame after she took home American Idol's contest for talent in 2002. Clarkson was raised at Burleson Texas (a suburban area of Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were first noticed by her seventh-grade music teacher. Clarkson was able to leave high school and relocate in Los Angeles where she failed to make it in the entertainment industry. In 2002, after returning to Texas Clarkson was a contestant on the first season of American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Company. American Idol, a singing contest that let viewers select their top performer. Fans were amazed by Clarkson's arresting vocals, charisma as well as her wit. Clarkson's prize for winning the contest was $1 million plus an recording deal with RCA.
