Heidi Watney

Her first year as a National Merit Scholar, and she attended the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated with high grades. 2 Watney has participated in the Miss California USA pageant, which she won as the first second-place finisher in 2002. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. After starting as a morning traffic reporter, she became a the anchor of sports on weekends and eventually weekday reporter. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working for New England Sports Network. She was an official reporter on gamedays for the Boston Red Sox. Watney hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show as along with Red Sox Report. Watney started her career with Time Warner Cable SportsNet, working as a reporter in LA Galaxy. But, she was hired by MLB Network in November 2012 where she spent nine years. She was host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022. 6 Heidi Watney served as a field reporter for the MLB on TBS 2022.
